Viera Co. promotions include expanded role for Pokrywa
The Viera Co. recently announced promotions as part of organizational changes in support of leadership’s efforts to consolidate areas of its real estate operations within The Viera Co. and Viera Builders.
In addition to his role as president of The Viera Co., Todd Pokrywa has recently taken on the expanded role of president of the subsidiary, Viera Builders.
As president of both operations, Pokrywa announced additional organizational changes, effectively earlier this month.
“I am delighted to recognize the well-earned promotions of my fellow team members at The Viera Co. and Viera Builders that serve to strengthen our integrated community development and homebuilding efforts going forward.” Pokrywa said.
The recent promotions are as follows:
Scott Miller, executive vice president, sales, marketing and community development.
Nick Crowe, executive vice president, Viera Homebuilding.
Stephanie Byrd, director of marketing.
Felicia Bitter, online sales counselor.
Karen Esposito, senior manager, commercial and outside residential sales.
Tyler Duda, senior manager, land development.
Karen Prosser, land development specialist.
Robin Aldridge, vice president, Viera Homebuilding.
Yves Joyal, director, Viera Pools and Outdoor Living.
Mike Wicker, superintendent, Viera Pools and Outdoor Living.
Charlene Spangler, senior executive assistant.
One Senior Place personnel earn certification
Eden Cook, director of One Senior Place in Viera, and Lisa Conway of affiliated Senior Partner Care Services, recently earned Certified Dementia Practitioner designation from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.
The certification follows the completion of required coursework, and is eligible for renewal every two years.
The council promotes standards of excellence in dementia and Alzheimer's disease education to health care professionals, front-line staff and others, to better serve elders living with various forms of dementia with greater efficacy and compassion.

Terry joins Florida Small Business Development Center team
Val Terry recently was named entrepreneurial nexus program manager for the Florida Small Business Development Center Network.
Prior to joining the Small Business Development Center, Terry ran Aspire Enterprises of Florida Inc., where she assisted small-business owners and managers with numerous services, including administrative processes; startup and existing business plan development; corporate structure and administration; market analysis; and licensure preparation.

Terry also is a public speaker on the Space Coast, giving presentations on various business-related topics at worksites and other community venues.
