The Florida Bankers Association recently presented the 2022 Chairman’s Award to Kelly Caldwell Jr., president and CEO of Caldwell Trust Co., in Venice.

This award is given to a recipient selected by the outgoing FBA chairman, in this case Fab Brumley, to honor someone who has gone above and beyond to support the association.

Caldwell is chair of the FBA Trust Executive Committee, which governs the Trust & Wealth Management Division, seeing to the specialized needs of banks with trust departments and stand-alone trust companies. As chair, Caldwell’s goal is to build relationships with trust bankers across the state.

The FBA presented awards to Caldwell and a select group of other bankers at its 134th Annual Meeting, in Orlando.

Four Icard Merrill attorneys have been named to a list of Florida Trend’s 2022 Florida Legal Elite. They are Anthony J. Manganiello III, William W. Merrill III, Alyssa M. Nohren and Patrick C. Seidensticker.

The 1,122 honorees on this year’s list represent just over 1% of active Florida Bar members, including attorneys in private practice as well as top government and nonprofit attorneys.

Manganiello is recognized in the category of Civil Trial Law, Merrill in Government and Administrative, and Nohren in Real Estate.

Seidensticker is honored as a Legal Elite Up and Comer, a special category for attorneys under the age of 40 who have exhibited leadership in the law and in their community.

Now in its 19th year, the Florida Legal Elite presents the state’s top licensed and practicing attorneys selected by their peers.
