Stillwater Sunrise Rotary announced that long time member and Past President Jon Stillman was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by Rotary International; fewer than 50 Rotarians worldwide are awarded this honor.

General Mills, a Golden Valley-based global food company, announced the election of C. Kim Goodwin to its board of directors; Goodwin also is a director at retailer TJX Cos., and has held executive positions at Credit Suisse and State Street. … Ciranda, a Hudson, Wis.-based supplier of certified organic, non‐GMO and fair‐trade ingredients for the prepared food industry, announced the promotion of Joe Rouleau to head of sustainability.

Chu Vision Institute, Bloomington, has welcomed optometrist Dr. Abby Bunnell. Bunnell earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree this spring from Pennsylvania College of Optometry Salus University.

nVent Electric, a provider of electrical connection and protection products and services to industry, announced that Danita Ostling was elected to its board of directors. Ostling is a former executive at accounting firm Ernst & Young. nVent is based in London, U.K., with executive offices in St. Louis Park.
