Thrivent, a Minneapolis-based diversified investment brokerage, announced that N. Cornell Boggs III, has been elected chair of the board of directors, effective Feb. 1, succeeding Bonnie E. Raquet. Boggs is a senior strategic adviser for Quarles & Brady, a national multi-disciplinary legal services firm.

Gravie, a Minneapolis-based health benefits manager for business, announced the hiring of Dr. Greg Burrell as the company’s first-ever chief medical officer. Burrell previously served as vice president of clinical solutions and operations at Accolade and also co-founded Carbon Health, a provider of urgent and virtual health care.
