Berks Women2Women (W2W), a special program of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA), will host its 12th Annual Conference + Expo on Thursday, April 20 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Santander Performing Arts Center, 136 N 6th St., Reading. The keynote speaker is Betsy Hamm, CEO of Duck Donuts, who will share her "Circle of Success." Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend three breakout workshops. The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) has partnered with Bottom Line Concepts LLC to offer a webinar dealing with "The Employee Retention Credit," 10 to 10:30 a.m., virtually via Zoom. Another session will be held on Thursday, May 4 from 3 to 3:30 p.m. In this 30-minute session attendees will learn: What is the Employee Retention Credit (ERC); Who qualifies; and If a business took PPP can it still qualify. SCORE TriCounty will host a conference, "Messaging, Mindset, Money: Women Playing to Win," 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Copperfield Inn at Lakeside, 594 West Ridge Pike, Limerick. Attendees at this one-day women's business conference will learn how to play to win in life and business. Keynote speaker is Ellen Leikind of PokerDivas. Her mission — to show how you can win in life and business using the strategies of poker even if you have never played the game. The event will also feature a panel discussion. The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance will host its "Open House Showcasing Upgraded Technology," 4 to 6:30 p.m., at the Center for Business Excellence, 49 Commerce Dr., Wyomissing. The center recently received numerous upgrades, which improve both the visual and audio dynamics of those attending in-person and virtual training. Facilitators will be onsite to answer questions about GRCA's training programs as well as demonstrate the new technology. Refreshments will be served. Registration is required: greaterreading.org. Friday May 19

The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance will host its "State Legislator Breakfast," 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading, 701 Penn St. Join GRCA for breakfast and an opportunity to speak with Berks County state legislators. Tuesday May 23

The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) will host its "110th Annual Dinner," 5 to 8 p.m., at the Santander Arena, 700 Penn St., Reading. Candace Nelson will deliver the keynote address. Nelson is the co-founder of Sprinkles — the world's first cupcake bakery and cupcake ATM — and Pizzana, a chain of Neo-Neapolitan pizzerias. Nelson will participate in a moderated discussion on the topic "Sweet Success: A simple recipe to turn your passion into profits." The dinner will also celebrate the Greater Reading business community with the Business Excellence Awards. Registration is required: greaterreading.org.
