Berks Alliance Community Development will put the spotlight on Berks Nature and The Nature Place, from 12 to 1 p.m., virtually via Zoom. Berks Nature is the leading agent for environmental conservation and preservation in Berks County. They are the stewards of more than 10,000 acres protected through conservation easements, and the owner of another 1000 acres and manager of 27 miles of trails across the region. The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual "Chamber Golf Outing and Clambake" from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Hickory Valley Golf Club, 1921 Ludwig Road, Gilbertsville. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a networking lunch, followed by a shotgun start at noon followed by the Clambake dinner from Moyer's Catering. Ticket purchase for single or foursome includes: 18 holes of golf, golf cart, complimentary use of the driving range, networking lunch, the Clambake dinner, refreshments, and goodie bag.
