Berks Alliance Community Development will put the spotlight on Berks Nature and The Nature Place, from 12 to 1 p.m., virtually via Zoom. Berks Nature is the leading agent for environmental conservation and preservation in Berks County. They are the stewards of more than 10,000 acres protected through conservation easements, and the owner of another 1000 acres and manager of 27 miles of trails across the region. Berks Nature also offers an array of educational opportunities. Perhaps the most significant recent development at Berks Nature has been the expansion of The Nature Place located in the 100 acres of Angelica Park. The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual "Chamber Golf Outing and Clambake" from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Hickory Valley Golf Club, 1921 Ludwig Road, Gilbertsville.
