The Berks Family Business Alliance will hold a workshop, "Get a Grip on Your Business: Right People, Right Seat & Speaking with One Voice," 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the Reading Country Club, 5311 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township. In this session, Jim Socci, Professional EOS Implementer, will provide entrepreneurs, business owners and leadership team members the specific tools and disciplines used to attract and retain the right people and get them in the right seats. Tuesday April 4

The Manufacturers Resource Center will host a workshop, " 5S Workplace Organization, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Manufacturers Resource Center in Allentown. This course consists of one day of classroom training where you will learn to reduce waste through a systematic application of the 5S System: Sort, Set-in-Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. Berks Alliance will present, "Spotlight on Berks County Parks and Greenway Strategic Plan," 12 p.m., virtually via Zoom. In 2022, Berks County released an updated Greenway, Parks and Recreation Plan, which evaluated the progress that had been made over the previous decade as well as outlined ambitions for future growth and changes.
