The Manufacturers Resource Center will host a complimentary webinar, "Governance for the Family in a Family Business," from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., virtually via Zoom. The Manufacturers Resource Center will host a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification course. It is an intensive two-day analytical and process-focused training program focused on improving business processes using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) approach. Participants will create process maps, fishbone diagrams, understand basic statistical measures, complete data demographics exercises, measure and analyze process capability, construct Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts using Minitab statistical software. Berks LaunchBox presents "3D Printing for Beginners." from 6 to 8 p.m. by appointment. Join us for an overview of additive manufacturing. We will discuss the software and equipment used to 3D print a product. We will go over terms and tips used in 3D printing, then detail the steps in the software to design, slice and print to make your ideas come to life. Together, we will create a tool in TinkerCAD, which you can personalize, then send to the printers to create your first prototype.
