Butler men's basketball begins the 2022-23 season at home against New Orleans.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 14-19 season that resulted in a coaching change and significant roster turnover. Chuck Harris and Simas Lukosius are the leading returnees, and transfers Eric Hunter Jr. and Manny Bates are expected to provide a lift.
The Privateers were 18-14 last season and appeared the Basketball Classic postseason tournament. Daniel Sackey previously attended Valparaiso.
Thad Matta is back for his second stint coaching the Bulldogs. Mark Slessinger, a native of Bloomington, Indiana, is entering his 10th season as New Orleans coach.
