QUINCY — Racing once again returned to Butler Motor Speedway for Back-Pack Night with a full slate of action, including racing in the 410 Winged Springs, UMP Modifieds, Street Stock and FWD divisions.

Back-Pack night is a yearly tradition for Butler Motor Speedway and has served as an exciting way to help young children get excited about the upcoming school year with chances to win back packs and schools supplies.

Also on tap was a giveaway for five free tickets to the Nascar race held at MIS on Sunday courtesy of Pell’s Tire Service.

Once the dirt had settled four racers were able to visit Victory Lane as Logan Easterday, Todd Sherman, Eric Swan and Cody Kipp all took home Feature Wins.

410 Winged Sprints

In the 410 Winged Sprints Division it was Logan Easterday of Coldwater bringing home the victory, with the #16C car of Tylar Rankin coming home in second place. Josh Turner crossed the line in third place, followed by Boston Mead and Quentin Blonde finished out the top five.

A full schedule of racing will return to Butler Motor Speedway on Aug. 13 as Butler Motor Speedway welcomes the Great Lakes Traditiaionl Sprints/Great Lakes Lighting Sprints. Also scheduled for competition is the UMP Modified Divisions, the Street Stock Division and the Front Wheel Drive (FWD) class.
