ButterBurger fans, rejoice: Indianapolis area getting more Culver's restaurants this year

Culvers is adding a slew of restaurants to the Indianapolis area this year.

Stores in Glendale Town Center,  6111 N. Keystone Ave. in Indianapolis, and at 6292 Mills Dr. in Whitestown are coming soon, according to the Wisconsin-based company.

Both are owned by Jeff Meyer, an Indianapolis-based franchisee.

Among other stores opening in 2022 will be those in Westfield, at 14667 Gray Road; Shelbyville, at 1850 N. Morristown Road; and Plymouth, at 2100 N. Michigan St.

The brand, known for its frozen custard and made-to-order ButterBurger smash burger on a buttered bun, currently has 19 stores operating in the Indianapolis area and more than 800 total in 25 states.
