21/05/19: Kate Middleton Changes Into Erdem For Queen's Private Tour

Hours after Kate Middleton wore her spring-perfect day look, consisting of a white, broderie anlgais shirt, wide-leg trousers and Superga shoes, the mother-of-three changed into the ideal spring evening ensemble.

To take her Grandmother-in-law, the Queen, around her Back to Nature Garden in the Chelsea Flower Show, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a delightful high-necked, floral Erdem gown.

Featuring three-quarter-length sleeves and white broderie anglais detailing, the prairie style dress is very much on trend right now.

Reminiscent of vintage Laura Ashley designs, the style has recently been re-popularised by brands such as Batsheva and The Vampire's Wife.

Middleton styled her prairie dress with wedged espadrilles, perfect pearl earrings and her hair in a Game of Thrones style twist.

20/05/19: Kate Middleton Tours The Chelsea Flower Show In The Perfect Spring Ensemble

Yesterday the Duchess of Cambridge revealed the garden she c0-designed for the Chelsea Flower Show. Called the Back to Nature Garden, she invited her three children, husband and some school children to play in the wilderness garden, which features a rope swing, treehouse and den space.

And today, the green-fingered Duchess took a tour of the entire show ahead of its opening tomorrow and the Queen's visit later.

Middleton, 37, wore a spring-perfect ensemble for the trip, pairing a white, broderie anglais shirt with high-waisted, wide-leg trousers and white sneakers.

Thankfully, the '70s-inspired outfit is easily recreated, particularly since both the M.I.H Jeans shirt and the Superga trainers are available to buy now.

The Duchess created the garden with the hope of helping children to reconnect with nature, and found her own children interacted with the garden in a way she hadn't anticipated yesterday.

Over the past months, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have helped The Duchess gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate @The_RHS Back to Nature Garden. Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden’s den. The Duchess told Monty Don in an interview for the BBC: “I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children. I really hope that this woodland that we have created really inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together.”

Speaking to the Daily Mail she detailed: 'The children played last night in a way I hadn’t imagined...They were throwing stones. I hadn’t actually thought that that was what they would be doing. They kicked their shoes off, and wanted to paddle in the stream… using it in a way that I hadn’t anticipated.'

Of the entire project she told the BBC: 'I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental well-being, particularly for young children.

'I really hope this woodland that we have created inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together.'
