Do you have special memories from the Budweiser Events Center?

Perhaps you had a first date or proposed to your partner there. Maybe you were in the front row at Matchbox 20 or Rod Steward concerts, or have cheered on the Colorado Eagles as a season ticket holder.

Now could be the time to keep those memories with you forever.

Larimer County is selling seats from the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a renovation and new name.

What to know about buying a Budweiser Events center seat:

  • About 4,700 seats are for sale for $100 each.

  • Purchase deadline is May 1

  • Seats are from the main seating bowl and are fixed seats only.

  • Seats will be randomly selected by the seating contractor, and no specific seat requests can be made.

  • Seats are rear mounted, and wall mounting will need to occur; no mounting hardware will be provided.

  • Seats will be available for pickup daily between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. beginning Monday, June 26 through Friday, June 30.

  • Seats purchased but not picked up will be recycled, and no refund will be provided.

  • Proceeds will go toward the renovations, according to The Ranch Manager Conor McGrath.

  • Visit treventscomplex.com/budweiser-events-center/buy-a-seat/ to fill out an online form. You'll receive an invoice, which must be paid prior to pickup.

Why is this happening?

County officials are replacing the permanent and retractable seating as part of a multimillion-dollar upgrade to the county-owned events complex funded by the extension of the 0.15% sales and use tax approved by voters in 2017.

In addition to the face-lift, the Budweiser Events Center will be renamed Blue Arena in October after the county sold the naming rights to Blue Federal Credit Union for $7.5 million over 10 years.
