You Can Buy A Pre-Built Gingerbread House At Costco Because Trying To Build One Yourself Is A Nightmare, Amirite?
If you’ve ever tried to make a gingerbread house, you know it’s no joke. If you're going the homemade route, you have to make the dough and refrigerate it for hours before you can actually do anything with it. On the flip side, even if you go store-bought, you have to try to fit all the pieces together for a priceless creation that you're not going to want to let anyone breathe on, let alone eat. Basically, it’s one big holiday pain in the tush.
Well, Costco knows what’s up because they’ve just unleashed pre-built gingerbread houses. It’s basically the pint-sized holiday version of a prefabricated house, and it’s everything.
The pre-built gingerbread house kit was flagged on Instagram by @costcohiddengems, and apparently this isn't the first time Costco has rolled these bad boys out. “The pre-built gingerbread houses are back at Costco! We love these and not having to deal with trying to sloppily build a stable structure!” they wrote.

The kit includes a pre-made house, assorted candies, and pre-made icing with a tip. You literally just have to put a little candy on it, dash on some icing wherever you’re feeling it, and then kick back with a cup of eggnog while reveling in the fact that you just saved hours of time and frustration.
Costco doesn’t have any information about the kit online, but @costcohotfinds says it’s just $9.99. At that price, it may just be cheaper than buying all the ingredients and DIYing a gingerbread house yourself.
