Reader question: I wanted to know if there are any restaurants open Easter Sunday?

Answer: Several Appleton-area restaurants have announced they'll be open and serving Easter specials on April 17.

Here's a sampling to get you started. We'll update the list as other eateries announce their Easter plans.

Michiels Bar and Grill in Menasha will offer an Easter Day buffet 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $23.95 for adults, $9.99 for children 4 to 10. Visit Michiels Bar and Grill on Facebook for a menu. Reservations recommended at 920-722-7885.

The Red Ox will serve tables of eight or less 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter. Its full dinner menu will be available, along with holiday specials. Reservations recommended at 920-830-4121. Visit redoxseafoodandsteakhouse.com for more information.

Romy's Nitingale in Black Creek is offering a curbside pickup menu for Easter. Visit Romy's Nitingale on Facebook for a menu and pickup instructions. Call 920-984-3631 to place an order.

Fratellos Waterfront Restaurant will offer plated brunch options from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Easter in addition to its full menu. Visit fratelloswaterfront.com for a brunch menu. Reservations recommended at 920-993-9087.

The Melting Pot will feature a four-course seafood menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Easter. The seafood entrée is $49.95 per person. The StoneYard will also offer a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Easter at its Appleton and Greenville locations. Cost is $19 for adults and $10 for children 4 to 11. Reservations required at 920-968-0222 (Appleton) or 920-750-6960 (Greenville).
