Cabinets sold at Home Depot and elsewhere got recalled. They might separate from the wall

Kitchen cabinets should remain flush on your walls, filled with plates, bowls, pots, pans, cups, saucers and those dishes family gave you that you never use. They shouldn’t come off the wall, which is why American Woodmark recalled 235,000 kitchen wall cabinets sold under the Continental Cabinets and Hampton Bay brands.

The problem, as stated in the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice: “The cabinets can detach from the wall, posing an impact hazard.”

So far, the notice says, one or more cabinets have partially separated or detached from the wall 90 times.
