Cabrini University Announces Tuition Freeze

RADNOR, PA Undergraduate tuition at Cabrini University is frozen and will remain at $33,845 for full-time undergraduate study for the 2021-22 academic year.

The university announced the tuition rate freeze Friday, saying it extends to room and board for next year, and that fees also would not go up. Graduate tuition rates will remain the same, as well.

Full-time undergraduate tuition and fees for the current year at Cabrini are $33,845. Room and board costs are $12,965.

The university also said merit scholarship awards will also hold at current levels for new students in 2021, with an estimated $8 million in university-funded grants and scholarships available.

"We strive to ensure that Cabrini's value-based Education of the Heart is affordable for all students, including those who represent their family’s first generation to attend college and individuals from low-income situations," said Cabrini University President Donald B. Taylor, Ph.D.

"We understand that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have placed an unanticipated financial burden on many families," Taylor said.

Students returned to campus in August for the fall semester, throughout which Cabrini has provided a variety of in-person, hybrid, and hyflex — a more flexible version of hybrid instruction.

Campus tours observing COVID-19 precautions are available to interested students by appointment, and the university provides virtual information sessions for undergraduate and graduate students. More information can be found at cabrini.edu.

"Cabrini University is committed to providing all our students with a quality, private, liberal arts education that will put them on the path to success as professionals and as engaged citizens of the world—particularly during these economically challenging times," Taylor added.

Cabrini enrolls approximately 1,700 undergraduates in more than 40 majors, pre-professional programs, concentrations, and minors on its serene 112-acre campus located 30 minutes from Philadelphia.

The University also enrolls 700 students in graduate, doctoral, and professional studies programs at its main campus in Radnor and at five off-campus locations.

Founded in 1957 by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Cabrini University is a Catholic institution whose mission is to "empower students to become advocates of social change through an Education of the Heart, focusing on academic excellence, community engagement, and leadership development."
