Cafe Hon closing in Hampden; Foreman Wolf to lease space

The iconic Hampden restaurant Cafe Hon is hosting its final dinner service Friday night. Owner Denise Whiting announced the restaurant's closure in a statement released Friday morning. The space will be newly leased to the Foreman Wolf Restaurant Group, the statement said. Whiting said she will continue to host and organize HONfest, which she founded in 1994. This year marks the 28th year of the celebration, which will take place June 11-12.
