Caitlyn Jenner Drops Bombshell Comments on OJ Simpson Not Guilty Verdict

Cailyn Jenner has sure had her name in the news lately, speaking on topics ranging from her relationship with Khloe Kardashian to her supposed pregnancy. Well, her latest comments might top all the previous ones. The "I am Cait" star who is currently appearing on the show, "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here," was prompted by some cast members to give her thoughts on the OJ Simpson murder trial, given that she was married to then wife, Kris Jenner, best friend of Nicole Brown Simpson who was OJ Simpson's wife at the time of her death. Jenner certainly didn't hold back, either.

It Was a Very Difficult Time for the Family

Because of her close proximity to such a monumental court case that has had far-reaching implications, Jenner was asked to give her thoughts on the OJ Simpson trial. After pausing for a moment to gather her thoughts, Jenner initially opened up about how tough it was on the family. Kris Jenner and Nicole Brown Simpson were very close friends. Jenner shared, "I saw Nicole two days before she was murdered. It was Kris’ best friend. We were right in the middle of it. [Kris’] ex-husband Robert, OJ was the best man at their wedding. It was a bad time for everybody, very difficult." The lamentation would only last for a minute as Jenner then dropped a bombshell.

Not Holding Any Punches Back

After seemingly being reflective of how difficult the situation was with the family, Jenner just let it fly. She stated, "We knew what happened, and this trial was a joke. And when the verdict came down Kris just turned around to me and goes: ‘We should have listened to Nicole from the beginning, she was right." Most people in the country believed that something wasn't right with the verdict of the trial, but it's intriguing to hear those types of comments from someone so close to those involved.

Haymakers Keep Coming

The cast members were visibly in shock after hearing these revelations by the former Olympian and asked whether she believed Robert Kardashian, despite representing OJ Simpson in the trial as the defense, believed that he was actually guilty of murder. Jenner's response was short and to the point. She shared, "I mean… there’s no way he didn’t know." While there are countless conspiracy theories regarding the outcome and trial as a whole, this one is interesting. Although, it should be noted that most defense attorneys are aware of the circumstantial information pertaining to their clients, even though they are defending them as if the acts didn't occur.

Jenner Recalls Kourtney and Kim's Initial Impressions of the Veridict

Towards the end of her expose on the Simpson trial, Jenner shared the moment when Kourtney and Kim Kardashian got home from school and heard the news. Jenner shared, "That night the verdict came in, Kourtney and Kimberly were in school. Obviously they loved their father, and they should, and they’d been following this for a year and a half, and when they walked in the door, I think it was Kourtney who said, ‘Well I told you he didn’t do it.’ And I said to the girls, ‘just because he got a not guilty didn’t mean he didn’t do it, and I don’t want his name ever mentioned in this house again." Certainly some very interesting commentary on the situation and trial, as a whole. We'll see if there are any responses to these statements in the near future.
