Caitlyn Jenner, 70, is single and plans to remain that way: 'I don’t see myself having a relationship'

Caitlyn Jenner is setting the record straight on her relationship with Sophia Hutchins, and explaining why she sees herself staying single.

The former Olympian opened up to OK! magazine in a candid interview about her highly speculated relationship with the 23-year-old Pepperdine University alum, whom Caitlyn calls Hutchins “a great friend.”

“I'm very fortunate to have a great friend in Sophia,” Caitlyn told the publication. “We have a wonderful life and we do everything together. Everybody needs those people in their lives. She has her life and I have mine. We live here and we support each other. It's a great friendship.”

The two have reportedly been friends since 2015, when they were introduced by a mutual friend. And although they’ve lived together in Malibu since 2017, Hutchins recently claimed they’ve never been romantically involved. Now, Caitlyn is confirming that.

“To be honest with you, I don't see myself having a relationship with anybody in the future. It's not what I'm looking for,” Jenner told OK! “I've got so many other things in my life. On a scale of one to 10, that's a one. I've been married three times. I've been down that road. I'm 70 years old, I want to enjoy my life and I have great friends. I don't even think about it.”

Caitlyn has been married three times before, with each of her relationships in the spotlight. Most recently, she went through a very public divorce from Kris Jenner in 2015.

Now, Caitlyn is finding value in her platonic partnership with Hutchins — who Caitlyn says has a “similar sense of humor” to her own. “Over the last few years, Sophia has been my best friend, family and confidant,” Caitlyn recently said in a statement to the New York Times. “Her value in my life is undeniable.”
