Cal Mitchell leads Indianapolis Indians past Columbus Clippers

Recap: Cal Mitchell went 5 for 5 with a home run for Indianapolis, who built a 9-0 lead in the first four innings and won 10-4. The Indians scored five times in the third on an RBI single by Mitchell, a three-run home run by Josh Palacios and an RBI single by Josh Bissonette. Palacios was 3 for 4 with five RBIs. Clippers starter Daniel Norris allowed six runs on six hits in 2⅔ innings. Reliever Brett Daniels was reached for three runs on three hits in 1⅓ innings. Zach Collins and Jhonkensy each were 2 for 4 and homered for the Clippers. Collins is now hitting .373.
