California State University, San Bernardino’s Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program has been recognized as one of the best in California for 2024.

Out of 12 universities with the best registered nurse to bachelor of science in nursing programs in the state for 2024, Cal State San Bernardino ranked at No. 7.

“Ranking 7th in California … is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence in nursing education,” said Jie Yu, Cal State department of nursing chair. “This recognition underscores the dedication of our exceptional faculty and staff, and the commitment of our passionate students.”

Azusa Pacific University

Three universities in the Inland Empire were also listed in the AllNurses report, including Azusa Pacific University School of Nursingat No. 9.

Based in Los Angeles County, the school has fourSouthern California locations, including a large school in Victorville led by Lead Nursing Instructor Lydia Garcia-Usry.

Azusa Pacific offers a fully online registered nurse to bachelor of science in nursing program and an in-person option at all its sites. Admission rates are 92%, with a 16 to 1 student-to-faculty ratio.

  • Length: Three semesters for full-time students; five semesters for part-time students

Loma Linda University 

The Loma Linda University School of Nursing was ranked No. 10 by Allnurses.

The school has three start times for the registered nurse to bachelor of science in nursing program, autumn quarter, winter quarter, and summer quarter. The school offers the program in an online format with admission rates at 41% and low student-to-faculty ratios at 11 to 1.

  • Length: 2.5 years (8 quarters)

  • Graduation Rate: 87%

California Baptist University 

Located in Riverside, California Baptist University ranked No. 11 in the report.

Cal Baptist offers three start times, including fall, summer, or spring for the fully online programs. Admission rates are 79%, and student-to-faculty ratios are 14:1.

Cost: $450 per unit, depending on how many units students transfer; the total can range from $13,500 to $24,300.
