Bartlesville Women's Network presents the 2023 History Maker celebration at 7 p.m. at Tri County Tech's Osage Room to honor National Women’s History Month. Deborah Langley is the 2023 History Maker of the Year, an award granted to women who have made a significant difference in our community. The speaker will be Dr. Karen Neurohr, an Oklahoma State University professor noted for her work with the statewide ListenOK oral history archives that include the seven local Taproots books published by Women’s Network. These volumes contain interviews with more than 50 Bartlesville area women and are available for sale at the Bartlesville Area History Museum.

4th Annual Spay-ghetti Fundraiser for Washington County SPCA 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 205 SW Frank Phillips Blvd. Benefiting the homeless animals from Washington County SPCA, the event will feature dinner, live and silent auction, and wine pull. Price Tower's Annual Youth Art Show Opening Reception 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Price Tower Art Center, 510 S Dewey Ave. Celebrating youth art education and young artists, this annual Youth Art Show has exhibited more than 300 pieces of artwork from students in public, private, and homeschools from grades Pre-K to 12th grade.

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will elect officers at this months meeting at the Citadel, 101 N. Bucy. A social time at 10 a.m. will be followed by the business meeting at 10:30. The auxiliary is a volunteer organization that is open to all area women. It helps support the various social programs of the Salvation Army.

The District will announce its Teacher of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Classified Person of the Year, Sodexo Employee of the Year, and Substitute of the Year.

Block Party Cook-off 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Bartlesville Police are hosting a BBQ Cook-off. Categories are ribs, chicken, and cook’s choice. Light it Up Blue 2023 5K and Fun Run 8 to 9:30 a.m. Registration opens March 1. Packet pick-up 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Paths to Independence, 4620 E Frank Phillips Blvd.

Operation Clean House 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at two locations: the Phillips 66 downtown parking lot and the District 2 Washington County barn in Dewey. A countywide event for Washington County residents to dispose of hazardous household and automotive good without harming the environment. More than a hundred volunteers are needed to help offload and organize the waste drop off, organizers say. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and breakfast and/or lunch. 2023 SAFE-NOW's Walk a Mile in Her Shoes 10 a.m. to noon at Frank Phillips Park, 222 SW Frank Phillips Blvd. SAFE-NOW provides forensic medical exams for victims of sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence. Get your team together and come walk a symbolic mile downtown Frank Phillips Blvd, wearing our signature red heels. Can’t walk in heels? No problem! Come join us anyway and wear your comfy shoes. This is a fun family Walk event. Lots of prizes and giveaways.

Washington County Master Gardeners Plant Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. behind the Dewey Fairground building Bring wheeled carts and wagons.  Due to construction in the area, parking will be limited to the side and front of the fairground building. Only cash or checks are accepted.

The Good, The Bad, & The BBQ fundraiser to benefit programs and services at Elder Care the Hughes Ranch, 63 County Rd 2696, just minutes from downtown Bartlesville on Highway 123. The outdoor fundraiser will be held under a large party tent and includes a BBQ dinner, music and dancing, and live and silent auctions. A cash bar will be available. Antiques and Collectables' 32nd annual Dewey Antique Show from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Washington County Fair building in Dewey. Tickets are $5 each. All ticket proceeds from the show go back into Washington County nonprofit organizations like the Clothes closet for elementary schools, FFA, 4H, Journey Home, ARF, SPCA, Kiddie Park, Dewey Hotel, Tom Mix Museum and a $1500 scholarship to a graduating senior in Washington County.
