Assistant safety engineer | Permanent full time
Work location: Modesto
Department: Industrial Relations
Salary: $6,865 to $8,590 per month
Requirements: Depending on your education level and previous work, the job requires one to two years of experience. Additional requirements can be found here.
The assistant safety engineer assists fully qualified journeypersons in safety inspections, accident investigations and more related to the CAL/OSHA program. The listed application is for an associate safety engineer paying $8,976 to $11,229 per month, but states an assistant position will be considered.

Office assistant | Permanent full time
Work location: Stockton
Department: California Highway Patrol
Salary: $2,880 to $3,912 per month
Requirements: A high school degree or its equivalent, the completion of business school curriculum or a clerical work training program. You also qualify if you have worked a year as a assistant clerk for the state.
The office assistant is responsible for processing all stored vehicles, including impounds, stolen vehicles and recoveries.

Department: California Health Care Facility
Salary: $2,926 to $3,663 per month
Requirements: Six months of professional cleaning experience or a high school diploma/its equivalent.
The custodian keeps offices, buildings, correctional facilities, residential facilities or medical facilities clean and orderly.

Disability Evaluation Analyst | Permanent full time
Work location: Stockton
Department: Social Services
Salary: $3,534 to $5,744 per month
Requirements: College graduation or its equivalent (or a senior) or one to two years working for the state in a similar position.
The disability evaluation analyst is responsible for establishing an applicant’s eligibility for disability benefits by obtaining evidence, determining the severity of the impairment and evaluating the applicant’s ability to execute work duties.

Department: California Correctional Health Care Services
Salary: $4,222 to $4,755 per month
Requirements: One to two years experience, depending on whether you already work for the state. Completion of academic curriculum in medical records science may be considered as a substitute.
The health record technician is responsible for processing Release of Information document requests, and assisting in sorting, prepping and scanning patient documents.
