California home listed for $6.8M looks odd on the outside, but is wicked on the inside
A unique ocean-side house has hit the real estate market in San Diego, California, for $6.8 million — but it’s not the price tag that has tongues wagging on a popular social media page.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom bay-front home not only comes with jaw-dropping ocean views so you can peek at sailboats gliding in, but also has luxurious tropical gardens and an awe-inspiring indoor/outdoor living concept.
However, the exterior is dramatically different from the interior. While the outside favors extremely sharp angles and creative vision, the interior has more of an underwater theme.
We’re talking mermaid murals and the whole nine yards.
But it seems to work wonders with the flow of the 2,607-square-foot home.
The contrasting exterior/interior of the home managed to steal the attention of fans on Zillow Gone Wild, who appeared split on the style and flow of the property.
Along with that eye-catching mural.
“Well it doesn’t have the garage I’m looking for, however I could adjust,” one fan said.
“I would live there RIGHT NOW — round bed, mermaids mural and all,” another person gushed.
“I love it but I’d also be afraid of people thinking it was a restaurant and public bathroom,” someone commented.
“That’s °acute° house,” another joked.
“It’s beautiful, but all of the unusual angles would have ocd me over the edge in no time,” someone observed.
“All the sharp edges and angles are very unpleasant to me,” one person said. “I don’t think I could relax in this house… even the round bed is surrounded by angles and points everywhere!”
“Looks like it’s the perfect location to get swallowed by the ocean, then you can recreate the lost city of Atlantis!” another exclaimed.
“Sweet, I’ve always wanted to live inside of a rain forest cafe,” one person joked.
“Instead of counting sheep, you could count the angles in that house on nights that you have trouble falling asleep,” another said.
