Californians receiving Pandemic Unemployment Assistance can certify for new extension Sunday

Relief is coming to Californians receiving Pandemic Unemployment Assistance. The Employment Development Department announced everyone who gets PUA payments will be able to certify by this Sunday. In a news release earlier this week, EDD said some PUA recipients wouldn't be able to certify until April. During a press call Friday, EDD said its agency was able to finish programming early, which will allow people to certify on Sunday. See more above.
