California's Massive Dixie Fire Reaches 90% Containment

The Dixie Fire, burning across several north California counties, stood at 90 percent containment early on September 21, officials said.

The fire has burned a near-record 963,200 acres since it began on July 13.

Officials estimated the blaze would be fully contained by September 30, and the last remaining evacuation orders were downgraded to warnings.
