Call for Nominations: Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards 2019

Corporate Counsel is seeking nominations for candidates for its Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards, which honors general counsel and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in corporate law. Honorees will be recognized at an awards dinner on Oct. 16 as part of our Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference that week.

These awards will pay tribute to North American women general counsel and law firm leaders who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership and business acumen as they have guided their organizations through often treacherous roads to achieve success. These award honorees stand out because they are business strategists, complex problem-solvers, and of course, great lawyers. And as important (especially to them) is that they are great people-leaders—they care more about the success of the team than their individual success.

About the Awards:

Hundreds of guests, in-house counsel, law firm partners and legal consultants will gather in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 16, 2018 to honor the empowerment and diversity of general counsel and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing women in corporate law. The awards dinner will precede the Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference that week on Oct. 16-18, 2019. The WIPL Conference is the original global forum facilitating women-to-women exchange on leadership and legal issues. The Executive Leadership Forum will take place earlier in the day on Oct. 16.
