Call the Midwife star Helen George has told Tom Cruise he needs to 'get the train' after he recently disrupted filming of the show with his helicopter.

Call the Midwife and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two are both filming near each other in Surrey and Cruise has been arriving on set through his helicopter.

Speaking on This Morning, George talked about the Hollywood star disrupting their shoot: "It’s so loud! You’ll be in the middle of a beautiful soliloquy or whatever, and then suddenly you hear [the helicopter]."

Her co-star Megan Cusack added: "And then you have to stop filming and just wait."

George then joked: "I hope this [interview] will make him change his ways! Get the train, Tom!"

George has also said that she has been trying to bump into the Top Gun star: "I’m always walking my dog just hoping I’ll bump into him but I never do."

Jenny Agutter recently revealed that Cruise was playing havoc with their production, saying: "Tom Cruise keeps on ruining our filming by landing his helicopter right outside where we’re shooting."

She joked that she would have to tell him off if it kept happening: “Excuse me Tom, but look we’re trying to film. I don’t know about you, but just get your helicopter out of here quickly!”

The next instalment in the Mission: Impossible series – Dead Reckoning Part One is due to be released next July and will feature other returning stars such as Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby.

Joining the highly accalimed action franchise is Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales and Cary Elwes.

Dead Reckoning Part Two will be released a year later and is expected to be the last time Cruise plays Ethan Hunt.
