Celebrate autumn with local fall festivals and enjoy frightful fun with upcoming Halloween happenings. Here's a list:

The Hagerstown Corn Maze

Open weekends in October - Fridays, 6 to 10 p.m.; Saturdays, 1 to 10 p.m.; Sundays, 1 to 5 p.m.

Adults and teens, $6; children ages 5 to 12, $3; free for children ages 4 and younger. Last ticket is sold 30 minutes before closing. Bring a flashlight to enjoy the moonlight maze. In addition to the 4-mile-long corn maze, regular admission includes jump pads, a hay pyramid, zip lines, mountain slides, rat races, a petting zoo, pedal cart rack and more. For an additional price on the weekend, access the new Ferris wheel, pumpkin cannon or the barrel train. The pumpkin patch is also open. Admission is $8.50 on weekdays and $12 on weekends (free for ages 2 and younger). Pay $15 on weekends to add one of the extra activities. Season passes are available. Admission to the night maze is $13.

On the weekend, explore the five-acre corn maze, take a hayride, visit the petting zoo and play areas. There is also a barrel train ride, jump pad, pedal cart track and a scarecrow factory. Fridays are "Flashlight Nights." Bring a flashlight and walk through the corn maze in the dark. The corn maze, mini corn maze, hayrides and petting zoo will be open. Haunted Maze Nights the last two Saturdays in October. $8, ages 4 and older; free for children 3 and younger; $4 for ages 60 and older and active military with ID.
