'When Calls the Heart' Is Coming Back to Television So Soon

From Country Living

Hearties, get ready: We're headed back to Hope Valley in just a matter of weeks!

We've actually known for a while now that When Calls the Heart would return for a seventh season. In fact, it was all the way back in April of last year that Erin Krakow first revealed the big news in a video message.

But now, we know exactly when the beloved series will be returning—and we've even got details on what fans can expect in the very first episode. Drumroll, please: The show will premiere on Sunday, February 23 at 8 p.m. EST.

Not counting the recent When Calls the Heart: Home for Christmas movie, it's been a long, long time since we last got to see the cast all together. But at least we're not forced to wait as long as we did last year after the Lori Loughlin college admissions scandal news. Following her involvement, WCTH took an extended hiatus to write Lori’s character Abigail Stanton out of the show.

So, what can we expect this time around? According to a press release from Hallmark, When Calls the Heart will open its seventh season with an episode titled "A Moving Picture," in which "Lucas (Chris McNally) gives Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) writing advice that causes her to search for new inspiration."

Meanwhile, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee (Kavan Smith) plan a vacation together, Gowen (Martin Cummins) is interviewed by a magazine, and Faith (Andrea Brooks) and Carson (Paul Greene) just might (might!) be headed for a split after she returns home.

We'll have to wait and see how all of that pans out. In the meantime, we'll be catching up on old seasons and planning an epic watch party.
