'When Calls The Heart' Removed Any Trace Of Lori Loughlin In This New Poster
When Calls the Heart season 6 is finally returning in May.
The Hallmark original series has been off the air since news broke of Lori Loughlin's alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal.
The show has taken lengths to rid any trace of Lori, including removing her from the existing WCTH poster.
When Calls the Heart is finally coming back! Season 6 of the hit Hallmark show has been on hiatus since news broke that Lori Loughlin was allegedly involved in a widespread college cheating scam. Following the scandal, Hallmark removed Lori from her ongoing projects, including WCTH.
The series went off the air as the producers thought out how to proceed without Lori, and her character Abigail Stanton. Abigail was integral to the show, almost as much as Erin Krakow’s Elizabeth Thatcher. Though we still aren’t sure how the period drama will handle Abigail’s exit, we do know that the network has already taken steps to remove her altogether.
After Hallmark announced WCTH’s return date (mark your calendars for May 5, by the way), a new poster was also released. As you can see, Lori is nowhere to be found. Instead, Erin is the only actress primarily featured, while the rest of the cast sits below.
It’s a far cry from the original season 6 image, which featured Lori and Jack Wagner prominently at the top with Erin. Jack is now at the bottom with Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Chris McNally, and Kevin McGarry. Lori’s name has also been removed from the cast list.

Of course, this all makes sense given the reports that Lori has been completely cut out of the season 6 episodes. A source told Entertainment Weekly that show-runners have “re-edited in such a manner that removes any appearances” of Lori.
Though Lori is still facing an uphill legal battle, it seems Hope Valley is ready to move on to business as usual. Plus, with season 7 already on the horizon, the show has no plans of letting the #OperationVarsityBlues drama affect their success.
