Calm After the Thunderstorm: Texas Brothers Glide Along Flooded Ditch in Inflatable Couch
A thunderstorm that passed through west Texas on May 11 brought with it lightning, severe hail, and some floodwater. The latter, however, was at least utilized by one pair of brothers in the town of Fort Stockton to take a relaxing journey.
Collette Barragan captured footage of her sons taking advantage of water that ran off the road. The duo glided down what almost amounts to a mini-river on a two-man floating couch.
Local meteorologist Anthony Franze shared the footage to Twitter, captioning the nautical shenanigans, “After it rains in West Texas.”
