HILLSDALE COUNTY — In a rare occurrence, one school won both the week six athlete of the week voting ballot and the football player of the week voting ballot.

Camden-Frontier's Taylor Lautermilch was voted the week six athlete of the week after her 14th overall finish at the first cross country SCAA Jamboree of the season. Her time of 23:07.46 was good enough to help her finish in the top 15 of the grueling race at Hayden Park.

Camden-Frontier football athlete Brayden Miller was voted the week six football player of the week. Miller had two carriers for eight yards and a touchdown to help defeat Waldron in week six. On defense, Miller had eight tackles, including three sacks.

Athlete of the Week and Football Player of the Week voting is open Monday through Wednesday and links can be found through the Hillsdale Daily News social media apps. Signing up to vote can get you entered into free giveaways.
