Cameron Peak Fire, Now Largest Wildfire in Colorado History, Rages On

Strong winds exacerbated conditions in Masonville, Colorado, as the Cameron Peak wildfire grew 20,000 acres in one day, forcing evacuations and damaging structures, reports said.

Robby Benson shared this footage from Masonville of the wildfire’s thick smoke plumes spreading with high winds. Residents received a mandatory evacuation order on Wednesday after the fire exploded overnight.
