Camila Cabello Drops New Album and Fans Give Their Reviews
Camila Cabello's latest album "Romance" is giving her fans plenty to talk about. The tease dropped Thursday afternoon, and the singer even offered a suggestion as to how fans could listen to it.
"Who’s gonna listen to #ROMANCE with a glass of wine in the tub at midnight tonight?" the singer asked in the caption to an Instagram post feature some album artwork. The artwork features Cabello sitting on top of a retro TV with a white shirt, black tie, no pants, and knee-high boots.

Cabello also posted a trippy teaser for the video inviting fans to the "world of 'Romance.'"
"Do you dare to lose yourself in love?" the singer wrote in the caption. "Do you dare to lose yourself in the exquisite agony of it? The desperation, the madness, the urgency, the passion, the ecstasy? An invitation like this is not for the faint of heart," the lengthy caption read in part. "All that’s left to do is surrender. After all of the buildup and anticipation, the album finally dropped at midnight on the east coast. In a post alongside the album drop, Cabello invited fans to react to the album.
"Romance is finally out. this is all yours now. please tell me everything you think, I’m dying to know 😫" she wrote alongside her Instagram post. From there, Cabello's legion of fans let loose with all of the many, many emotions that the album had apparently made them feel.
"Your album is too powerful and I'm so weak, I honestly can’t stop crying," one user tweeted. Another thanked Cabello for all the work and time that she had put into the album. "CAMILA, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WORKING ALL THIS TIME TO GIVE US SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ALBUM, FULL OF FEELINGS AND PERSONAL MUSICS," the fan wrote. "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I'M IN LOVE WITH ROMANCE." Across the board, the album's reception was immensely positive with fans.
Camila's latest album may tie in directly to her blooming relationship with Shawn Mendes. The two have known each other for years, and for most of that time they claimed that they were just friends. Recently, though, they've made their relationship more public, and Cabello's album seems to tie directly into that.
Now that the two are officially together, they've been more than happy to publicly share their romance. Señorita, the song the two collaborated on, really feels like a public declaration of love.
