Camila Cabello Finds Her Prince Charming for 'Cinderella' Retelling

Camila Cabello has a new prince!

The 22-year-old singer's upcoming reimagined take on Cinderella has found its Prince Charming in Nicholas Galitzine, Deadline reports. Galitzine, a 25-year-old British actor, appeared to confirm the news on Twitter, writing, "Well I guess the news is out..."

Galitzine also took to his Instagram Story to share a clip of himself zooming in and out to show off his hair -- and give a bit of insight into his preparation for his new project.

"Hair is at a super awkward length. Wondering what I'm growing it long for?" he teased alongside the video.

The actor made his screen debut in The Beat Beneath My Feet back in 2014, which he starred in alongside Luke Perry. Galitzine also acted in movies including 2016's High Strung and 2017's The Watcher in the Woods, before most recently appearing in Share, which came out earlier this year. Additionally, he starred in Netflix's horror series, Chambers, which ran for one season on the streaming platform.

Galitzine has also shown off his musical talents on his Instagram page by posting videos of himself singing.

For Cinderella, which was conceived and developed by James Corden and will be directed by Kay Cannon, Galitzine will join a cast of characters including Idina Menzel as the evil stepmom and Billy Porter as the fairy godmother.

Additionally, ET has learned that Cabello will be integrally involved in the creation of the music for the musical comedy, whose heroine is described as "an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow."

When ET's Keltie Knight caught up with Menzel, she gushed over her upcoming role, which she said "sort of encapsulates all the different facets of who I am as a performer."

"It's just exciting," she added.

Cinderella is due out Feb. 5, 2021.
