Camilla Parker Bowles' 'cheeky' wink during Trump visit sets the internet aflame
The Trumps wrapped up the first afternoon of their three-day state visit to the U.K. on Monday with a meeting with Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla. After visiting the queen at Buckingham Palace and touring Westminster Abbey, the first couple made their way to Clarence House to meet the royals for tea.
The photocall has quickly gone viral because of a sly, half a second moment caught on camera: The brief footage reportedly shows the Duchess of Cornwall winking at her protection officers as the foursome exit the room.
Journalist Charlie Proctor shared the footage to Twitter, writing: "Royal Protection Officer: 'Camilla, if you are in trouble then wink, we will come and rescue you.'"

So now I'm in love with the Royal family as Camilla winks at the cameras behind #Trump's back as if to say, yes we know he's a w**nker but let's treat him as "The Emperor's New Clothes."#c4newspic.twitter.com/kEjkN6NL3w

"Camilla sees right through Melanie's attempt to dress like Lady Diana," wrote one tweeter, referring to the strong resemblance between the first lady and the late royal's ensembles. Joked another, 'Who'd have thought that Camilla would be my hero? Her wink is giving me life right now."
Later tonight, the first couple will return to Buckingham Palace to join other dignitaries and royals for a state banquet.
