Camping World: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. (AP) _ Camping World Holdings Inc. (CWH) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $14.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Lincolnshire, Illinois-based company said it had net income of 34 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 48 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 24 cents per share.

The recreational vehicle retailer and services provider posted revenue of $1.13 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.1 billion.

For the year, the company reported net income of $122.3 million, or $3.09 per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $5.45 billion.

Camping World shares have increased 43% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
