Saige E. Yoder, a graduate of Gov. Mifflin High School, received the Excellence in Human Resources Studies Award as she graduated from the University of Scranton with a bachelor's degree in human resources studies. She was inducted into Omega Beta Sigma, the women in business honor society.

Dickinson College

The following area students graduated from Dickinson College, Carlisle.

U.S. Merchant Marine Academy

—Skyler M. Burnham, Spring Township, graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, N.Y. She earned a bachelor of science degree in marine engineering systems and a commission in the U.S. armed forces. Her Merchant Marine officer license qualifies her to serve as an officer on any ship in the U.S. flag merchant marine. Burnham is a graduate of Wilson High School.

Burnham will fulfill her service commitment as a third assistant engineer in the Merchant Marine and as a Navy Strategic Sealift Officer.
