Jun. 25—Megan Dougherty of Sinking Spring, graduated from the College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Va., with a bachelor of science degree.

American International College

Mariah Steffey, Boyertown, has been awarded a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from American International College in Springfield, Mass.

Shenandoah University

The following area students graduated from Shenandoah University, Winchester, Va.: Bradley Blanchard, Gilbertsville, bachelor of science in esports; Connor Naugle, Mohnton, bachelor of business administration; Daniel Trout Jr., Boyertown, bachelor of music in music production & recording technology; Seanna Krikorian, Morgantown, bachelor of music in performance.

Research experience

Area students are taking part in research projects as part of the Albright Creative Research Experience at Albright College. These are creative endeavors done outside of regular semester sessions. Local ACRE participants include:

Lehigh award

Nikki Pasterczyk of Sinking Spring received the Lehigh University NSF-REU Award in the spring semester. The Research Experiences for Undergraduates program, funded by the National Science Foundation, supports active research participation by undergraduate students. Pasterczyk, a junior, will be using her scholarship to conduct research at the Scripps Research Institute.
