Alvernia news

Madison Houck, an Alvernia University occupational therapy major from Reading, presented "Rehabilitation and Sustainable Education Provided to Five Belizian Communities Through an Interprofessional and Intercollegiate Healthcare Experience" at the Pro Bono Network Conference on March 11 at Widener University in Chester. The presentation related to a clinical study abroad experience in Belize.

Brianna Beavens, an Alvernia biochemistry major from Reading, published an academic research article, "The Current Therapeutic Role of Chromatin Remodeling for the Prognosis and Treatment of Heart Failure," in the Biomedicines Journal on MDPI Open Access Journals alongside Dr. Lindsay Kraus, assistant professor of biology.
