Oct. 29—Gabriella DeMarco, Leesport, was among a group of Kutztown University students who presented their geological research success at the annual international Geological Society of America meeting in Pittsburgh.
DeMarco, a marine sciences major, took part in a study of sands and mud deposited in the Chesapeake Bay to characterize changes in the environment during the past 20,000 years.
Alvernia workshop
Hector Malave and Ariana Rosato-Green, Reading, Alvernia University students in the O'Pake Fellows Program, engaged in a logo design and personal branding experiential learning workshop at the school. Malave is an O'Pake Institute Fellow of Communications, and Rosato-Green, is a Fellow of Marketing.
