Campus outreach groups trying to improve young voter turnout

Continuing our election watch. Midterm elections are just over a month away and there are local efforts right now to get more young people registered to vote. According to the Secretary of State's Office, just over 49 thousand people aged 24 and younger cast their votes in the primary election this year. A turnout of just two percent of the nearly one point one million ballots counted in the primary.
