Canadian County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 58% of people fully vaccinated

Some 58% of people living in Canadian County are fully vaccinated as of Dec. 7, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Oklahoma reported 675,733 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 1% from the week before.

Canadian County has one of the five highest percentages of their population fully vaccinated in Oklahoma as of Dec. 7.

The others in the top five are Oklahoma County (61%), Caddo County (58%), Tulsa County (58%) and Noble County (56%).
