Canal Winchester 3-day festival continues as largest and longest-running Labor Day celebration

The annual Canal Winchester Labor Day Festival is Ohio's largest and longest-running Labor Day celebration. What began in 1920 as a small gathering called the Fall Festival is now a local tradition that attracts over 40,000 visitors each year.

The festival offers something for everyone. The food is always the most popular attraction. It is hard to walk through the festival without grabbing something to eat.

During the day, activities focus on the kids. There are rides, games, and even a visit from the Zoo. Every evening there are bands for the older crowd. Don't miss the car show, beer tent, and several dozen vendors.

The Canal Winchester Labor Day Weekend Festival takes place Saturday, Sept. 2; Sunday, Sept. 3, and Monday (Labor Day), Sept. 4.
