Former Lady Vols basketball star Candace Parker is making history at the 2023 NBA All-Star Game.

The WNBA's Las Vegas Aces star is the first woman to call the game and shared a few words with her fellow commentators Reggie Miller and Brian Anderson before the game started on Sunday night.

"I just say thank you and promise to do my part," Parker said during the event broadcast. "But also, representation and opportunity matters."
