  1. Tell us a little bit about your background: How old are you?How long have you lived in Madison County?: I’m 64, and I’ve lived in Hot Springs 64 years.

  2. Why did you decide to run for political office?: Honestly, I was talked into running the first time I ran.  Since then, I’ve discovered that I enjoy working for my town.  I’m running again because there are projects that have been initiated by this Board that I want to see completed.

  3. What do you feel are the most important issues in your town?: Our infrastructure is my main concern; without water, sewer and streets, this town would be non-existent.  The community center is an issue due to its state of disrepair, and this Board has begun the process of renovations.  Then, of course, there’s the issue of parking. We will have a parking study done in the near future and see if it offers any solutions.

  4. What do you want your constituents to know about you – what do you value/what matters most to you?: God, family, and friends, in that order.

  5. What do you like to do for fun?: Spend time with family.

  6. If you wish, please list education/family/careers here.:  I am a graduate of Madison High School.  I worked 12 years with the Hot Springs Health Program, and 20 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs.  I’m now retired.
