Who are the candidates for local borough, township and school district positions?

SOMERSET ― On Nov. 7, Somerset County voters will have the opportunity to select a group of county officials, including the county commissioners, a district attorney, high sheriff, county auditors, the recorder of deeds and the register of wills and clerk of the Orphans’ Court Division.

In the county’s local municipalities, voters will also select township supervisors, borough council members and their local school board directors. Here’s the list of candidates who are on the ballot for those local elected positions.

Somerset Borough voters should be aware that the southwest voting precinct has been moved to the Somerset Area Agency on Aging, 1338 S. Edgewood Ave. This is a permanent location change as of the Nov. 7 election.
